Prvo zvanično priznanje Amerikanaca o pogodku drugog F-117A?
The Facebook page of the official US Air Force museum may have „committed news“ this morning.
The National Museum of the US Air Force publishes a daily historical factoid. Today’s perhaps adds a new wrinkle to the official history of the Kosovo air war 12 years ago. See below:
The shoot-down of one F-117 has been always been acknowledged by the USAF, but I do not remember an official acknowledgement that a second aircraft was damaged on the same day (although I have heard the rumours).

I don't think it happened on the same day and the SAM was probably fired blindly. From my contact with an engineer who worked on the F-117 FLIR system, Serbian aircraft flew very close to the F-117 without being aware of its location.

This is the first time I hear about SAF planes flying near the Nighthawk.
Any more details on that?

What you wrote is incorrect. It is not possible to fire a missile without target on the radar, because the system will not blindly fire a rocket. It would be possible if the plane is floating … But pro speed of 800km per hour, to predict the path of something that you do not see is impossible.
Oddball
Allegedly, one of the MiG 29s was very close to a F117 prior to being shot down by an USAF F15 without picking it up or knowing of F117 position.
There is even a reinaction of this dogfight on the History Chanel Dogifights series stating and showing that few AMRAAMs were virtually flying over the cockpit of F117 before shooting down the MiG.
